I am over the moon excited right now. Yesterday I received my Reiki III Master certification! I was a little nervous going into the class after being super ill with the flu the week prior. I totally overdid it even though to me I thought I was managing my schedule and life just fine – the joke’s on me.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when the class did nothing but uplift and energize me to a level even higher than I was before sickness knocked me down. I’m the type of person who doesn’t know I’m sick until I’m out and about somewhere and it dawns on me… something is not right. Oops!
So, we postponed the class until I was in the clear, rested up and caught up on my Reiki studies. The class was so pleasant and full of joy and excitement. I learned new symbols and practiced giving attunements and Reiki treatments using new tools which enhance and up level the healing being given. We even included an added benefit of intuitive studies and tarot work for my newly enhanced abilities.
Reiki Master is simply someone who has received the third attunement and is therefore able to channel stronger energy, teach and attune others into Reiki energy. There are lots of Reiki Masters out there today, but what sets apart the few from the many is their commitment to the healing work as a blessing and honor. It is an honor to be a conduit of such profound and life-altering ancient healing practice.
All in all it was a huge success and even though I didn’t know what to expect I walked away feeling completely shifted into a new awareness and openness as a healer. I have a new commitment to the gift of Reiki healing and the blessing it bestows upon the healer and receiver. I feel more spiritually aligned, connected to God Source energy and my intuitive gifts.
Moreover I have this sense of being bathed in pure love and light. It feels as if I’ve rolled around in clouds of bliss and my heart is wide open to a whole new world of love, life and joy.
I’m that person walking around with a silly grin on my face. Yep – that’s me.
Reiki has changed me. I am made new.
